No, According to me preesurising sales team to submit there daily activity report or daily sales report will lead them just to visit customers and collecting data of customers.
its better to see numbers instead of business cards.
because sales is all about numbers which will reflect your performance.
if your activity is good but there is no results came out so whats the benifit of your hard work !!!!!!
