Information and communication technologies (ICTs), and in particular assistive technologies (ATs), can provide students with disabilities access to traditionally inaccessible educational content through electronic and online learning channels. Schools that have the means and the mix of the right ATs , can help people with disabilities to access education they have never had. It will also enable them to gain skills training and get employement and participate in the ecomony of their region. Examples are : using a screen reader while using the internet for visually impaired person or hearing aid to amplify the surrounding sound for hearing impaired person..
