One difference between the balance sheet between profit and non-profit organization is with their capital account. In a profit organization, the capital account is termed as owner’s equity account unlike no-profit organization where they termed it as net asset. This is because there is no owner in a non-profit organization.

There is increase in  income under proft business while there is increase in expenses in non profit business
