Why do you think most of TPM initiatives fail at very beginning stage? How can it be established efficiently?

TPM Initiative fails internally due to Lack of  TOP management involvement at plant level.Plant team considering the TPM is extra burden for them. Resist to change initially for TPM promotion activities.

In most of the cases TPM initiatives are considered as a mini-project rather than a way of life. Everything goes fine P done D done C done A done and project ends a project closure report to the management. Most of them don't understand that the cycle has to close and wheel needs to keep moving PDCA - PDCA - PDCA.... so on
