Circuits involving transistors need a "dc bias". It just means that you apply a positive dc voltage to the base of the transistor so that it keeps working properly.

For example take mosfet operation. An NMOS is expected to block current from drain to source until the gate is activated. If you have AC across drain to source, then it allows current to flow backwards (losing gate control).

Not all electronics components work on dc only. some are both dc and ac. (like capacitors, inductors,...)

When we talk of electronics components the first thing comes in our mind is transitors. this compenents works only with DC due to its characteristics and used.

transitor needs a bias of uni polarity to work.

We need a constant flow of current for Electronics components that is why we use DC not AC.

FIRST OF all i will identify customer need then i will also

your question is wrong. it should be: why some of the electronics components work on DC but not on AC?

Electronic circuits are comprises of semiconductor devices such as transistores diodes, mosfets jfets etc. and most of the devices are unidirectional, ac flips the polarity it causes the semiconductor devices to operate in opposite to the desired operation.

DC is for low voltages and AC is for high voltages, if AC runs on a DC component it will fry the circuit.

Hey Aqib Allam,

You can find that electronic usually derived the name by operating voltage12-24 voltage DC such component with low electric specifications such as resistors, capacitors, converter and having a regulator that leads to these low values, While on other hand AC current for high voltage equipment that uses directly the end phase supply  power.

Sorry for long answer.

because the electronic components consist semiconductor materials which are not able to accept AC.
