On coil temperature is the temp of air entering into evaporator where as Off coil temp referred to the Air Temp leaving the Evaporator coil.
On coil is the temperature of air just before passing through the coil.
Off coil is the temperature of air just after passing through the coil.
Supply Air Temperature is the condition of air just at outlet of terminal unit / any air outlet device in the system.
Return Air Temperature is the condition of recirculating air just at inlet of terminal unit / inlet of any return air device in the system.
On coil temperature is the temperature of air before the cooling coil and off coil temperature is the temperature of air after the cooling coil

air sucked through return air ducts---------------------------off coil return air temperature
air doesn't leave from where it has come it is sucked from return air ducts
for my understanding on coil is the temperature of air entering the evaporator and off coil is the temp. of air leaving the evaporator.
On Coil of Air entering evaporator, Off Coil of Air leaving evaporator.
- On coil supply air temperature is the out side temperature which coming to the cooling coil , it is Dry bulb temperature or Wet bulb temperature with some relative humidity.
- Off Coil temperature is the Air leaving temperature after cooling coil. It is a constant value with high Relative humidity.
We can pass this Air through dehumidifier to control the humidity in Air.
On Coil Temperature means temp. of Air entering the Cooling/Heating Coil & Off coil temperature is Temp. of air leaving the Cooling/Heating Coil.
On Coil Temp & Return Air temp Means -Temperature of Air at the In let of Evaporator Coil
Off Coil Temperature and Supply Air Temperature Means : Temperature of Air at the Out let of Evaporator Coil
At on coil return air temp. is (EXMP- 24*C) & 0ff coil supply air temp. 9-12*C.
Note- These all creteria is full fill when system is going bon good condition.
On coil temperature is the temp of air (Dry bulb/wet bulb) entering into evaporator coil (mixing of return air & fresh air) where as Off coil temp referred to the Air Temp (Dry bulb/wet bulb) leaving the Evaporator coil i.e supply air.
