Commincation, commincation, communication. No different how you maintian a good realtionship with your wife or children at home. I always say if things are happy at home it translates to the work place. As fathers, mothers, parents, husbands and wives we are leaders. Its about taking time out to listen and share problems and solutions. Managers that engage their employees forge long lasting, profitable relationships.

Better working environment

Concerned about the welfare of the workers.

Holding department wise meetings to know about there problems and get feedback from them how those problems can be sorted giving them the feeling of ownness as they are the important part of the organisation.

These things will keep away the industrial relation problems away and command respect.

I have above shared my self experience as a SBU Head of a plant.

Obviously people working in a industry are no doubt matured and sane. I can make them understand that only together as a team we can succeed and at the end that is what the Organization and management also expects from the team. Team success is individual's success. So for team's success, all the individuals(co-worker's) in a team need to be work together with cooperation, with cordial relationships and helping with each other. 

I would also like to have team meetings official purpose and some friendly meetings when time permits to nurture the co-workers relationship within the team, by making them participate and express their views about the team work and progress, co-operation, difficulties in the team, so that I can bridge the gap between them to bring together and have cordial relationship between them. Thanks.
