Interior Design career   It depends on the path you choose, If you have that passion and creativity for designing and excellent imagination to create them then choose AutoCAD drafting as a start and then enhance your designing skills from imagination on to paper and following join a firm which helps you to start as a designer only and then your path is set for future benefits.

Sales job is like selling products which are designed by others, Yes ! but taking experience from the veterans on how to do the designs and portray it ,  is a good option but totally a different career for you as you are wanting to be a designer.

Auto cad work you can get it done with some charges or the experienced in that field. As a Interior designer you should focus on understand the basic individual requirement and that idea convert into furniture design , will definitely required first hand information.  Better you choose Sales Rep position
