yes, i agree with you if the work is part time or if it is not main work,but i think its more interesting working at organization your basic job.
Having worked remotely for 3 years from a home office, I can conclude that it's not always a good thing. Firstly, it needs a good amount of self-discipline and focus since personal distractions are inevitable at home and also there is no deadline to be at work and start working. It surely does give you a certain degree of freedom and makes you more accountable for the work you are doing but on the other side there are days when I used to miss having a regular office and interacting with colleagues as well as learning the ropes of other functions like finance, production, supply chain, etc. from them which being in office I can do every day.So in my opinion, if there is an option to combine the two- working in office and at home, that would be the best, healthiest and most efficient way to bring out the best in an employee.
