Design mix concrete structures,having maximum aggregate sizes from 10 to 20mm. Does bigger size aggregate benefit the structures?

The bigger aggregate always gives benefits to structure, one it reduce costs.ie numbers of tones to be used, amount of water, sand etc.

for same workability, increasing the maximum size of  aggregates lead to decrease the water demand of the mix and the water/cement ratio (better mechanical properties).
