for a non native speaker, you can learn english by simply watching an english movie and try to imitate how these native speakers pronounce the words, also you can get a magazine or anews paper and read out loud the words infront of the mirror, you can check if you pronounce it correctly thru a dictionary or thru Youtue, remember that you will learn tings thru reading, listening and speaking, practice what you hear and read and sooner or later youll realize your doing the accent naturally as you get use to it.

Real conversation is the best way to learn english fast for non-natives speakers otherwise the alternative way is to listen to video taps, CDs, TV. or self-learn online

The use of visual aids are very useful when learning any language. Listening and repeating the word several times helps the student memorize the words. Group discussions with peers also helps because we learn from listening and watching others. Pairing a student that is a beginner level with a student that is an advanced level also helps students learn faster.

Immerse yourself in the language as much as possible. Seek out native speakers and explain that you want to improve your English. Watch English speaking television and movies. Soap operas are the best since people speak slowly and dramatically to give you clues about meaning ;). Write down idioms that don't make sense to you and look for someone who can help you with these or search the internet. American English in particular is full of these.

First and foremost, the sudent must have a strong desire to learn this or that language. Secondly, student must create language atmosphere and live in it.
