I think internal audit is more impotent then the external, external auditors never familiar with your working atmosphere and will continue their audit on these SOP written by the internal employees. But on the other hand the internal auditors now very well about the working condition, organizational behavior and can identify the loophole in the system if they do the audit with true sprit.
