Thank you a lot for your invitation.
In general, a professional architect takes his/her design as if it was his/her baby, he/she would create a well crafted design that satisfies the owner; so when this baby " the project" is brought to life, the architect would feel good and proud enough to create it.
I can imagine when this baby "design" was the architect's own, it's going to be full of passion.
On one hand, he/she feels excited to live in it because he/she knows very well his/her requirements that will be translated later into spaces and functions, also the architect knows his favorite style and details that also will turn into masses and elevations in later stage.
On the other hand, i think he/she would feel over enthusiastic and may be hesitant, because he wants to implement his best concepts, and use his whole experience very well, so that his home will tell about his taste and his creativity as an architect .
Personally, i saw homes that were designed by the owners "the architects", and they were outstanding.
