Knowing where you come in strong and where you need assistance can help you stabilize your personal life and nurture your professional interactions. Self-knowledge is a powerful tool that too many people disregard because it's difficult or inconvenient, or perhaps because it makes them feel uncomfortable. What seem like strengths to one person, moreover, might not necessarily seem that useful to others, which can make figuring out whether specific qualities you possess are strengths as opposed to weaknesses confusing or frustrating. While this is something you will have to figure out mostly on your own, there are exercises you can do to identify your strengths and weaknesses for a job or for personal reasons. There are also some tips to help use these tactics in a practical setting where they are most needed, a job interview.

Neighbors are the best mirror of myself. They can gives assessment and feedback about my strength and weakness in different areas.  However such should be validated through self evaluation and assessment to get the right measure and action  for growth  both strengths and weaknesses.

By seeking feedback from people around, specially your mentors. and by evaluating yourself, as more or less everyone has this self-evaluation quality.

If I want an honest answer, I will ask the people around me, be it my family members, colleagues or friends. The reason for this is that they will provide me an answer that may not likely be biased on my opinion. Self realization and Self reflection is all good but to be honest how many of us are capable of giving our own selves unbiased opinion? We will always come up with reasons for our short coming to justify them. Few people can judge themselves, especially when it comes to negative points. Once all the positive and negative points have been made, then it is time for reflection up on them, this can be hard as we all posses a certain level of ego, it is simple part of human nature, it is always there even if some people posses more of it or less.

The need for realization is higher that in order to be a better human being you must reflect on all the negative points with honesty and find solutions to over come that, similarly you need to reflect on all the positive points and think about how you can make them even better.
