Operations and Projects always fight tooth and nail to bridge the gap you need to establish a committee of like minded employees who will update with latest happenings. Output of one department is the input of another hence the dependency is very much there. If flow of information is smooth90 % of the bridge work is already done, ERP system is one of the solution to minimize this gap .
operation managers are one of the major stakeholders which should be identified and manage all the time of project . after finishing project the deleverages must be delivered and project documents as well.
since in all stages the operation needs are considered, major differences in production and operation needs is not expected.
finally in the right time a responsible expert can handle the handover and preparing checklists and detailed MOM is very important.
Operation is a continuous process but Project is a temporary endeavor. It has a definite beginning and end
Thank you for invitation
I Agree with my experts
One is complimentary to the other, but there are multiple differences. What you develop through Projects, is what Ops work on a daily basis. They key is to keep turning over the deliverables with focus on details and letting them know at each step the progress being made and subsequent timelines for the next deliverable.
Operations is Stable organisation
Project is Temporary team
a lot of meetings and choose good PMs .
