Do you agree with the short definition of Secondary Data?

Totally Agree.

In a nutshell, primary research is original research conducted by you (or someone you hire) to collect data specifically for your current objective.

Conversely, secondary research involves searching for existing data that was originally collected by someone else.  You might look in journals, libraries, or go to online sources.

1. Totally Agree

Primary data offers tailored information but tends to be expensive to conduct and takes a long time to process.

Secondary data is usually inexpensive to obtain and can be analyzed in less time.

However, because it was gathered for other purposes, you may need to tease out the information to find what you’re looking for.

Primary data is the information collected from sources such as personal interviews, questionnaires, surveys, observation and discussion by the researcher him or herself. It is a direct approach.

Secondary data is the information which is already available somewhere, whether it be in journals, on the internet, in a company's records, in corporate or governmental records.

So I totally agree with the definition and my choice is #1
