Methodology is the systematic, theoretical analysis of the methods applied to a field of study. Typically, it encompasses concepts such as sample size, quantitative or qualitative techniques.
Research methodology is a set of goals, hypotheses, approaches, principles, methods, means and procedures of logical organization used in the study of phenomena and the implementation of cognitive activity. Research methodology is the actual planning phase of any research in which researcher decides about the underlying philosophy of the research inductive or deductive. Based on that information, method is described, quantitative, qualitative or mixed and then data instruments are designed to collect data about any specific phenomena in order to make either generalizations(Quantitative) or giving concrete explanation about any one important aspect normally found in qualitative research.
