Is it advisable to visit gulf countries on visit visas and then search for a job?

I am applying since last8 years from my native country with no luck hence need to know more about the process. I already worked in Gulf and that time was recruited from my native country but unfortunately I have to leave because of recession in2008-09. I still believe that applying from one's own country without leaving current job is better way however as time is passing with no proper response from the employers in gulf made me think of this option.

In general, the rules of the Visa and Visit Visa are Changeable in Gulf Countries like Kuwait where I live . The visit visa regulation somehow is not transferable to residency . It will be a frustration if you hunt a job but you cannot transfer to a normal residency or your job offer will be declined if your employer know about residency status .

I prefer to get a permanent visa to avoid both rules and declined job offers. You can also negotiate with your employer to release a visa for you after success in interview, therefor you back to your country and come again on his sponsorship as employee with permanent residency.
