Managing for diversity can force an organization to change its personnel policies. Offering day care to employees of any gender and marital status is an example of such a change. Offering language training is another example. Social activities need variation to meet the characteristics of a diverse workforce. One approach to adjusting social activities is to poll the workforce for its preferences.
