Hello,

You can also follow book from 'Larry Ulman' PHP for beginners and start follow book and write code side by side. To learn PHP from manual is not good idea untill you dont know which function or tags to use in which senarios. In his book you can learn code, logic and standards too.

Being only php developer is not enough you have to also learn techniques and algorithems to write code with better approach.
