There is no info graphic, cheat sheet or any shortcut in these. Pls do not fall to some false tutorials. This skill is gained only through experience. You need to pass hundreds of projects to get this routine. But here is some tips:

1. Never combine more than one Serif font ( So if you use a serif font, use only one type, you can make combinations of normal, bold, italic etc.)

2. Learn on different types of font for example: Seif, Sans-Serif, Tecnical, Vintage, etc. (this will get you to now more fonts and how they combine)

3. Go trough google, and just type in Logos for example, and go trough of them, you will find in each logo, how different fonts are combined.

As long as you are registered to adobe creative cloud you have a bunch of fonts to use even if the template of some projects is out of font stock in your computer the adobe will recognize it and it will search it for you.. and if not you can download a bunch of fonts in any downloader like torrentz.eu just type adobe fonts so you have a thousand different kinds of adobe fonts, you can use it in different themes of design and those fonts that I used is rarely seen on those advertise.. It will give you a distinctive twist on your designs..
