It is both indeed. It is a science Because you should know exactly what you are teaching and know about the teaching methodologies, moreover, know how to deal with the students in all aspects. And it is an art because you need to use your own talet of teaching in a creative way in order to transfer your knowledge to the students in a successfuly and also make them able to use it and apply it by thier side. This what makes the difference between a normal teacher and a talented one.

It has a little bit of both, but most importantly it is a talent that you either got it or you don't, and i think that makes all the difference.

Both, as without science you have nothing to present, and without art you have no way to present by.

It is art you need to deliver fact knowledge. And the way how you will give knowledgeis your art. So, teaching is both.

Both, we can call it scientific art.
It is science because a professional teacher must know all about what he's teaching, but being a good teacher is an art, the good teacher is the one who knows how to put  his science in the minds and between the hands of students correctly, and moreover making them love it.

it's both..
but i think it's an art more than a science because in teaching u must have the appropriate approach or strategies according to the students' needs and these approaches depend on the motivation that is inside you not by learning.
