Purchase order opposite Sales Order .Purchase Order issue from : management of procurement and reqired from production department .Selling Orede issued by: Marketing Division  and  required by the customer.In actions:Purchase Order needs to request materials sales Order needed to support the delivery .

Purchase Order is generally issued by Materials Purchasing Division Head for the purchase of any raw material or consumables required by an industry and Sales Order is generally issued by a Marketing Division Head for the sale of final or say finished goods manufactured by an industry.
