Radio Angle Detection and Ranging
The term RADAR was coined in 1940 by the US Navy means RAdio Detection And Ranging
Radar means RAdio Detection and Ranging .. wich use electromagnetic waves as a pulse sending by an equipement called Transmitter throught targts ( Planes , Ships , Objects ) reflecting bach to the RF receiver to processing it from analoog to data and send it to the monitors .
RADAR stands for Radio Detection and Ranging
RADAR IS A NAVIGATION DEVICE AND IS USED TO MEASURE (1) RANGE OF THE OBJECT(2) AZIMUTH OR DIRECTION (3) ALTITUDE OR HEIGHT FOR TWO PURPOSES (!) NAVIGATION(2) COLLISION AVIODENCE SYSTEM
BY THE HELP OF RADIO AID FIND DIRECTION OF OBJECT
A system for detecting the presence, direction, distance, and speed of aircraft, ships, and other objects, by sending out pulses of high-frequency electromagnetic waves that are reflected off the object back to the source.
Radar is an object-detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, angle, or velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations, and terrain. A radar system consists of a transmitter producing electromagnetic waves in the radio or microwaves domain, an emitting antenna, a receiving antenna (separate or the same as the previous one) to capture any returns from objects in the path of the emitted signal, a receiver and processor to determine properties of the object.
