it means that it brings profit to both sides. two companies for instance.

In business, there are2 involved parties: The vendor and the consumer, and whether the first party is selling a product or a service, the 'win-win' situation comes when both parties are beneficial. And that is when the consumer get his service or product as required with a fair amount of payment for it to the vendor who through this sale has gained a profit. So both parties came out as winners.
