Quality and cost are not100% directly proportionally. When the needs of the customer are met and he/she is satisfied with the product in a cost-effective way, cost may not be a variant. Others will not mind cost when buying their brand and when customers expectations are exceeded, cost may be the last constraint.

Obviously, we should know the reason of payment.

Sometimes higher price means higher quality. sometimes means lake of our information about what we are buying.

So, good customer means somebody that is aware about what he need. So, he will do the reasonable shooing , with higher price or optimum price.
