This field needs the practical training and hands on experience for excell in your carrier.As the market is tremendously is growing up and a recent usa survey has found BME dept,has a projected% growth in this field and considering the fact that this was the most paid field in all you need to do a masters degree with practical  project may boost your technical knowledge with state of art instrument knowledge .

As a advice please bag hands on practical training from a work shop or have M.tech and you are the king in this field.
