To gather practical job experiences at work by himself and try to know the difference in between theoretical knowledge and practical application. As for example: Take a used diesel engine and dismantle completely, match with the system in all sections those learn during study, carry on with routine maintenance, detect wear & tear parts, bearing, seals etc including air, fuel, oil, cooling systems thoroughly.
On the other hand, it is better to choose field of works based on actual demand in international job market. Still first one is very essential for all mechanical engineer and in the long run you will feel. Otherwise take higher study to recognize your degree internationally.
construction of petroleum reffeinery
the best field to get more experience, is that field you like
you have to know first which field you want
It depends upon the location where you want to work, - in JAPAN/China - Production is on top where as in midle east MEP services have a great boom etc , which ever field you chose now there is a very impressive changing of trend, for last10 years it was to enhance 'quality' that was on top, but for next10 years it is HSE and especially green environment will be on top in every field wether it is MEP construction or production of FMCGs- go for it
Well to tell you frankly I'm a Civil Engineering graduate, But being the same Engineering. In my own Opinion the Best field of the new Mechanical Engineer to earn a good experience is to Practice what was learned in the Engineering Educational Theories, then Actual Proof of the Training, Actual Experience of the Mechanical Engineering works.
Its totally depends upon on you.in which field you are interested like power plant , stell industry, petrochemical ,manufacturing etc out of all these above you can chocose any one .but i will suggest petrochemical snd power plant industry where you will learn more things .
Power sector is the best sector for Mechanical Engineering.
