As I see it, their is no direct relation between Public Relation and Human Resource. Having said that I must say this too, Public Relation makes HR dept job easy and tough too. Easy because if the PR dept. of the company is doing a good job then it becomes easier for the HR Dept to look deserving candidate. Had because everyone wants to be associated with the company hence a tough time in screening and selection the right candidate.
In both you deal with human relations. With public relations involving dealing with your the persons on the outside (your clients and potential client), yet with Human resource management involving dealing with people on the inside (your workers).
