Do men need to be more Protein of Women? No difference in protein intake requirement between males and females.

 

In a nutshell, adults should eat0.8 grams of protein for each1 kg of their body weight. E.g. a person who weighs kg should eat about grams of protein daily.

 

For sportsmen and sportswomen, the requirement increases to1.1-1.8 grams per1 kg of their body weight, depending on activity level.

I am seeing that everybody looks at body weight. That is NOT correct. When we recomend any nutrition plan, we focus on the LEAN BODY WEIGHT (Muscles, bones and organs with water). With that being said, we can have the same nutrition plan(protein intake) in strong and lean 60kg women and big and fat 100kg man.

Yes the muscles mass of men are more than in women, so the man needs more grams logically, and this depends on tve actual weight.
