We can manage large quantity of products in warehouse by segregating properly, keeping them in different zones on racks and shelves, making separate area for separate items to pick and pack as well dispatch. Monthly cycle counting the stocks. etc
Firstly, the expiry date of the incoming goods should be validated to know how long it can stay taking into consideration your stock balance. Your stock balance would give you an idea on how to re-stock and not to either overshoot or request less. Secondly,stack the goods in such a way that the stock can be easily taken in a short while. Keep a daily record of stock movement; either you disburse in piece meal or in large quantity. Issue out goods with defective packaging condition first not considering FIFO. On a condition that the new stock has a closer expiry date compared to the available stock LIFO will be put to use. Do proper palleting and label your goods well (quantity and name) to avoid forgeting some. There are many more ways to manage quickly large quantity of product in a warehouse.
keep one SKU in one location ,If item quantity are bulk make big location if quantity are less make small location . Do not keep same SKU in different different location .
Have to classify goods according to their classifications and categories, stored according to their class and movement of stocks. For easy identification of goods need to put identification label with name /description of goods, we may indicate the supplier 'sname and the date received the items. With that we can easily monitored also the shelf life of the items and easy product identification. Also for proper handling and storage we may use pallets for proper filing and easy retrieval of goods inside the warehouse.

by dividing materials upon their characteristics or giving them location numbers. it's easy to manger and time optimization, also help to quick perform receiving, put-away, replenishment, and dispatch. when handling product by any document there should be location number mentioned front of material descriptions.
First segregate bye SKU wise then make location bye SKU for put-away and it is also good for outbound activities.
Segregation and categorizing each product based on its usage and putting labels on its item storages together with an index card for quantity immediate inventory record (stock card).
Assign specific location for each item and add stock to that specific location and issue from there as well.
Start at the very begining:
Open each inward shipment cartons and see what is included. From there, make a mini stocking pile in each box. Knowing where they will eventually be housed, put close-proximity items together, so that you can then pull them to the correct spot on your warehouse floor and stock them quickly.
