One should always have a positive attitude whether in an interview or in life. Of course, this is easier said then done. At an interview, one tends to get nervous due to performance pressure. In a way , its a good thing. One needs to prepare before hand. Read up about the company, the mission and vision statement. Go prepared.
Humility- a very important character to adorn, and worn by very few. Be humble at an interview and in life in general, even though the interviewer might be asking rapid fire questions or conducting a stress interview. Ask for a glass of water or if offered tea or coffee, it helps to sip on it.
Be genuine- people can see through fake. If you do not know the answer to something, state simply, that you'd find out. Or do not know.
Be confident- If you're prepared, early at the interview, have a positive attitude and humble. You will put your best foot forward.
Last but not the least, if you do face rejection, don't take it personally. Think positive- Something better is up a ahead.
All the best for those applying.
A professional attitude for an interview is positive attitude and be confident.
Always be focused about when the intervew is goig to happen and follow these 3 important things as following:
1. Positive attitude
2. Be confident
3. Ready and prepare about the company queries.
Jobs is the need of candidate and candidate is the need of the company, from my point of view if the candidate cooperate, shows the positive attitude towards the company, and demonstrate all the qualities( which can be shown, eg. communication skills) then and there without hesitation, with full confident, over all with pleasing personality, than the point of getting selected for the applied post becomes easy.
Be positive throughout. Showcase what you can for the organization. Moreover consider your organization as your own so you will be able to give more input on how to grow further.
When we talk about professional attitude we clearly mean an attitude which is pertainiing to work environment who is confident and honest with integrity. But do we find that? The answer is NO in majority. Why? Because many fake, some get nervous, no confidence. In my view the interview process environment should be like a personal meet otherwise HR will never be able to find out the real personality. And HR people should be welcoming not snobbish or arrogant and look down on any job seeker. This attitude of their's make a candidate nervous as a result of which confidence gathered is drained. HR must understand they are not hiring robots for their organaisation but humans. And human tend to be different in every aspects. If the job seeker will be comfortable with the interview environment they will be honest and straight forward. It will in tur help the human resource people to hire the right fit for the job position.
A candidate should be have positive attitude, confident, better listing, eye to eye contact are the major factors.
