As I know the technologies like Java, .Net, SQL and Ms AX. Does the employer will hire after working as a system/IT admin as I see no call or reply from the employers. Wanted to shift specially into .net/java programming.
Friend, may be you better think of growing as Network Architect/ Project Management as you already seems to be having good experience in this line. Think.
Also I feel it may not be a difficulty for you to shift into programming as you seems having4 years of experience, can notice the same from your profile.
If you want to pursue career in programming line, may be you can start preparing and trying to get the relevant certifications like sun certification's for Java or .NET related certicates, whichever side you are interested in and show your interest to the prospective employers that you want to switch and achieved certifications also in that line, will help you in grabbing opportunity.
With little knowledge and experience I have in this field, my view points above mentioned may be of some helpful for you. Thanks and wish you all the best.
