DNS stands for domain name system. Its a library of all records & It resolves IP address to hostname (fqdn) or vice versa. DNS works on port 53 (tcp/udp). TCP for zone transfer & UDP for dns queries.

DHCP stands for dynamic host configuration protocol. It provides automatic IP address to clients.
