on my own perception the reason why most company have high attrition rate because of some factors:
1. The Management of the Company.
2. How you care your employees or how you treat them.
3.Benefits and compensation.
I think this are the factors that needs to get more attentionn of the HR professionals to help the company grow and lower the attrition rate. Attrition rate reflect on the company itself. This is my own perception.
