What is the future of coal fired power plants?

The Future of Coal Power plant is Bright however it will increase the pollution. The Coal power Plants will help to tap the coal reservoirs of Thar. 

it's very bright specially in Pakistan, however it do have pollution problem.

Because of the easiest and inexpensive production of electricity the coal fired power plants are very important and future is bright.Many people think about pollution but by using electrostatic presentations the air pollution could be minimized

Easy way to generate power..but i creat pollution in atmosphere.its future is not good

I am sorry I just recently completed my Electical Engineering degree and I am not a professional so, i have no idea about your question.

Pakistan needs a score of coal-based power projects to bridge the widening gap between electricity demand and supply, said an energy expert. The country produces 16,000 megawatts of electricity and local demand variably stands at around 22,000MW. Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum, who is spearheading a key coal mining project in Thar district of Sindh, said China produces more than two-third of its electricity from coal, which cost-effectively fulfills the energy requirements of the second biggest economy of the world.

Coal Power Plants is the future of energy starved Pakistan. It will help to reduce the energy problems on short term basics. The Coal power projects will inline soon.
