First, u need to study the problem in detail and exhaust your thoughts, then, look at the pros and cons of the possible actions your thinking of, that is how to handle a problem. But i realize you need it to weigh full in front of your boss, that means u need to be confident. All you need is confidence about self and about the decisions you have taken. Just own them up.
