In any corporate, Marketing department and especially Marketing Communications team are the most important to create clear and correct announcements as per corporate tone of voice.
There is always a process that should be followed to achieve any Marketing Campaign.
1.) Identify Business Objectives (commercial, brand, sales, retention, referrals, new acquisitions etc)2.) Identify customer needs (Segment them, define their personas (demographic and psychographic)3.) Find the 'sweet spot' between the two. This will form your core message and lay out a strategy. The core is a combination of addressing the objectives and allaying the fears of a customer. How can your product/service improve their lives and what will it cost them(not just the financial cost)4.) Conduct market research (PEST) and competitor analysis (SWOT). Use this along with point3 to define your USP5.) Define your strategy and approach based on points1-46.) Lay our an end to end marketing tactical plan that covers every touchpoint (every area where the customer has an experience of your brand). Use whichever process here you feel comfortable with (AIDS or MOT's etc)
7.) Detail each marketing channel with deliverables, resources, time, cost, objectives, KPI8.) Have a constant monitoring process to ensure you have full visibility of the progression of each channel.
9.) Learn from the plan and feed back into point1.
To achieve Marketing Campaign the marketing team need to understand their target audience and their needs, the campaign has to clearly address the needs of its target audience in such a way that they can clearly understand and also transmitted through a medium that can effectively reach majority of its audience.
