In a Cabin Crew screening process, why do the recruiters focus more on the applicants who are extremely good-looking, yet lack knowledge and skills?

The recruiters in such cases deal with cabin crew like the front office in Hotels. They choose the front office employees in a certain standards like (Good looking,  Presentable, etc). The cabin crew like hotels that is why they choose them on good looking basis.

They see that knowledge and  skills easy to be learned but it is hard to find the good looking one.

My point of view :- The passenger sure wants to look to a good looking and presentable crew but he also wants a professional one, some times professionalism come in first place over good looking ...
