Social media or more accurately, the content that is easy to spread via social media — has the ability to make people act in very specific ways that are positive to business owners. Social media can grab the customer’s attention; convince them of a “need”. The utility of social media is at it’s greatest during the pre-sales and initial-sales phase. The influence of social media sharply declines the closer the customer is to making the purchase. Therefore, Social Media does have a strong influence on customers buying behavior.
