What is meant by 'Open Door Policy' and is it really relevant in all situations?

Trust is important in the employment relationship. Does this open door policy works if there is or there isn't any trust between management and employees. Food for thought

yes, it works and it all depends on thetype of an organisation . I t must be a well established organisation

The open door policy means that manager must not close himself in front of the employee but he will negotiate their missions and after that he can persuade them by his mission or their missions
