Adverting is Paid and Publicity is Not Paid, its by word of mouth. So my answer is C.

Advertising is content you pay for (Radio, tv, banner etc). Publicity on the other hand, refers to free content about you and your company that appears in media. Its what others say about you. So the company has no control on the outcomes of publicity,
