From what i have observed the following contributes to the development of these websites such as Snapchat and Instagram

  • Java
  • Java Script
  • PHP (Such as Facebook)
  • Ruby
  • Objective-C for apple products - (uber, instagram and snapchat)
  • C programming
  • Swift

All Android apps programmed by JAVA

iOS apps programmed by Objective-C which become Swift.

Can U B more specific please , when u say apps do u mean android apps or the web app !BTW how does it come that most of the questions on Bayt.com specialties is asked by Bayt.com employees, like yourself !

From my experience, these are heavy social and chat interactive apps.

We can use the following languages. 

Erlang - for Chat Java - API Objective-C, Swift - for iOS app Android SDK, Kootlin - for Android app JavaScript - for pushing data Node JS - for Server Redis - for caching user-specific dataFirebase, Mixpanel - for Analytics, tracking
