Strategic fit should be established at the interview phase, through targeted selection. Cannot have a "square peg in a round hole". Every organization has its own environmental or work culture. The right fit, will result in better production. One needs to get along with colleagues, if working in a team. Good communication skills are essential, as is attitude. One can push for attutude over experience at times, as the right attitude results in better organisational outcomes. Complacency could set in when people are comfortable (with personal goals only) and refuse change, which is a constant! The right attitude, or the right face of the organisation, is often the window into the "soul" of the organisation, which needs to be aligned with the company/organisation's mission and vision.
