What are the most important values you demonstrate as a team leader?

1. Leadership is an art, which is God given but surely needs polishing. That means, its not enough that some1 is a born Leader. May I say every human is a born leader baring some very exceptional unfortunate caes.
2. It is upto individual to realise the leader inside and polish him/ herslef as a leader.
3. Napoleon said and I quote "Courage is the1st quality of leader and perseverance follows".
4. Courage does not mean fearlessness, it means over coming demons, while acknowledging these. It makes you more human and humane infront of your team. Human tends to follow and listen to fellow humans, with human qualities. It is a great motivator for your team to see you facing your demons with courage and fortitude.
5. Perseverance is the most important value, to show the team you are leading that it can be done. It is slightly different from persistence.
6. A good leader is a good team member, a bad team member cant be a good team member.

I would have and demonstrate these values as a team leader. 

-fair and equal treatment to every team member

-lead as a role model

-giving opportunity to the team and hear their views and adopt it if is a best practice or best solution with out any inferiority complex

-friendly treatment

-as a guide to team when in need and extending help whenever required and also some extend to personal advise if in need of any team member.

-inculcate the value of working as a team to the members for the best interest of the team.
