method statment : its the way to do the job and how apply it.

risk assesment: its the way to analysis and study and assest the risk in that job and put the measure control to prevent any accident to happen

Method statement as the name implies simply spells out how the job must be done and the steps that needs to be followed methodically While Risk assessment is a careful examination of the task at hand to reveal the risk inherent in it and develop control measures to check,prevent or reduce those risk to as low as is reasonably practicable. (ALARP )
