KBC petrosim  is more advance in comparision to reactor kinetics modeling. HTRI has more feature for Heat exchanger simulation

Aspen plus is definitely more advanced than hysys. But, I always think that the right property package selection is the key to having good simulation results.

The goal is not to get the best software, the goal is to get the best correct results by knowing how to use the software in the correct way, because a lot of HYSYS users are known only fifty percent of it, it's more than advanced.
