Computer Aided Designing / Drafting (CAD/CADD) is used to draw, draft and design Civil, Architectural, Fashion Designing, Automobile Designing, Mechanical, Plumbing Electrical, Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning projects.(may be in other departments also). CAD software provides ease in designing which makes it so flexible to design any complex drawing in a computer. Which ensures Quality & increase Production. Rather than doing it on paper where in an error can't be undone with so ease as it could be done in CAD software.

Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) controls the manufacturing process, i.e, what we have designed in CAD software will guides the machines to generate the final product  which allows in precise precision cutting which can't be attained by human efforts. It's just like assigning a job(CAD work)  to a robotic machines and the machines will do their work in a manufacturing plant.

In simple words CAD is used to design (input) and CAM will generate product (output)

CAD/CAM is a standard term stands for Computer aided design (CAD), and Computer aided manufacturing (CAM).

CAD is the initial stage of a certain project designing stage, while CAM is the next level where the design partially excepted. In the CAM the design will be examined carefully to be approved for manufacturing.

CAD stands for computer aided designing.

CAM stands for computer aided manufacturing.

CAD Computer added design. Designed to interact with human \\

CAD stands for Computer Aided Design, CAM stands for Computer Aided Manufacturing. CAD and CAM are tools to model(a part or assembly related to any machine or instrument) and generate a numerical code for manufacuring the model(using robotic machines) respectively.

cad is the computer aided design where we can show our creation on computer.

cam is computer aided manufacturing where we cam manufacture things from machinery.

Is Computer Aided Design/ Computer Aided Manufacturing. CAD is used design 2D and 3D models.

it is namely: computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing
