Human Resource Management functions are concerned with recruiting, motivating and developing competent employees. HRM activities further should, motivate the workforce by providing employees with satisfactory pay, benefits and working conditions. HRM professionals also develop individuals to ensure that they are trained to a level necessary to meet the job skills to be an effective and productive employees.

To achieve satisfaction between employer and employee goals and needs, HRM departments focus on three main functions: planning, implementation, and evaluation.

I feel as HRM, he should first know his roles in the company or organization as a planner and a monitor of any employee performance. In this he must be aware of his roles in the company such as recruiting, motivating and skill development in line with the company objectives that are lump up in its policy. With this he must recruit competent employees to feel the existing posts, follow their planning activities, implementation of their plans through their immediate managers and evaluate department general performance in therms of company`s surplus and initiate the process of rewarding best performers. With this in heart he can now know which type of leadership to employ. The best be democratic as it is for team work. His performance or decision taken must base on the company`s objectives and always consistent. The standard of reward or punishment must be transparent through regulations and rules that govern the operation of the company which are displayed every section of the company. I feel at this juncture he can be free optimize his HR skills in clearing enabling environment that harmonizes the employer and employee interests as the two have different interests.
Lasly, it should be borne in HRM mind that his core function is to facilitate the achievement of maximum surplus for the company. So he must always have conscious mind in dealing with humans as if mishandled can derail the focus of the company.

It is one of the prime responsibilities of HR is to create and maintain healthy (friendly) environment for employees. This approach will lead the professionals and other employees of the company to work in comfort level and may lead to productive and efficient output. HR is supposed to arrange recreational activities alongwith professional development through organizing training sessions, these lead towards a change in environment.
I remember what Mark Zuckerberg once said in an interview "Keep your staff satisfied and motivated or else they will use your internet to search a new job"
Thats all the staff needs motivation and facilities and they will love their work and company growth will multiply..
