As I know that behavioral and situational interview approaches are same and I do not find any differences. For behavioral approach, we use STAR (Situation, Task, Achievements and Result)  method.

We do behavioral based interviews and main theme is to assess individual decision and judgmental skills in particular situation. Most of the time as individual gain experience such reply helps the recruiters to assess their most appropriate reaction in that situation.
